On Record

So it finally happened. After many signs and letters and hopes and prayers, Rep. Joe Heck (R-Henderson) personally came down yesterday to meet with grassroots activists calling for comprehensive immigration reform (CIR). He listened to their stories... And he even prayed with the group before returning inside.

However, that wasn't all. Shortly after that, Culinary 226 and Nevada AFL-CIO workers, along with community activists from PLAN and ProgressNow Nevada, joined the DREAM Big Vegas crew in Pebble Park to make a second trip to Rep. Heck's Henderson area office and demand a House vote for CIR.

Culinary's Yvanna Cancela fired up the crowd at the park...

And then, the group prayed together before making the big walk.

Finally, everyone crossed the street and marched together in solidarity.

But because the manager of the complex was trying to rent vacant offices there, only groups of four were allowed inside one group at a time. The rest had to wait outside. They had to wait outside, in the back of the building, under the hot August sun.

And yet, they all waited. They waited to file inside, turn in "constituent comment forms", and let Rep. Heck's office know that Nevada families from all walks of life want Congress to finish the job on immigration reform.

All it takes is a floor vote. Rep. Heck and other House Republicans need to be willing to join a bipartisan call for a floor vote. Will they?

At least now, it's on record that real NV-03 constituents want one.

Glimmer of Hope

Earlier today, immigrant rights activists gathered outside Rep. Joe Heck's (R) Henderson office. They asked for Rep. Heck to stand up and push for a vote on comprehensive immigration reform (CIR). And to everyone's surprise, Rep. Heck came down himself to meet with the activists in the parking lot.

He first spoke with Denice. She explained to Rep. Heck why she and Jacinto (her husband) can't visit his family.

He then heard Victoria's story. She was separated from her mother when she was eight. She hasn't seen her mother since, and she's constantly had to live in the shadows as a DREAMer.

He also heard from Chris and Juan. Both recently signed up for DACA. Juan and his father have even been able to start their own pool maintenance business since then. They were on hand to represent the very people Joe Heck and other House Republicans voted to deport in June.

What a difference two months can make. Since then, Rep. Heck has (again) changed his tune on CIR. He even prayed with the crowd today.

At least today, it seemed like there was renewed hope all around. Rep. Heck agreed to come down and engage DREAM Big Vegas. Everyone discussed without screaming. Everyone even prayed together.

So will this translate into the long awaited House passage of CIR? We shall see. But at least for now, a glimmer of hope survives.

One Heck of a Meeting

Today, we're seeing another office visit. Once again, Rep. Joe Heck (R-Henderson) was greeted by DREAM Big Vegas. And this time, they came ready to pray.

And that wasn't all. There was another twist. This time, Rep. Joe Heck came down to pray and speak with the activists.

Denice, Victoria, Chris, and Juan all shared their own personal stories with Rep. Heck. Denice's husband can no longer visit his family in Mexico. Neither can Victoria, as she was separated from her mother when she was only eight.

Chris and Juan then explained to Rep. Heck how DACA has allowed them to actually work and live their lives without (as much) fear. Maybe this is why he's been changing his tune on the DREAM Act?

Astrid was not even expecting this. It was a pleasant surprise that Rep. Heck came out to speak with the activists. At least there was dialogue today.

Perhaps it can continue...

Carpe Diem

Yesterday, the Clean Energy Summit kicked off its sixth annual gathering in Las Vegas. Many luminaries gathered at Mandalay Bay to discuss the future of renewable energy and the green economy. And of course, there was talk about the other big reason why the state and nation need to shift to a cleaner and greener energy future.

Oh, and did I mention renewable energy is becoming more affordable? Oh, yes. That's right. Solar power is getting cheaper.

The installed prices for solar photovoltaic (PV) power systems fell by a range of 6 to 14 percent, or $0.30 per watt to $0.90 per watt, from 2011 to 2012 according to the sixth edition of “Tracking the Sun,” an annual PV cost-tracking report published this week by the Department of Energy’s Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

The report looked at a 208,529-unit sample of residential and commercial solar installations that “represents 72% of all cumulative grid-connected PV capacity installed in the United States through 2012.” The researchers looked at the median installed price of solar panels in three system size groupings. In 2012, this median installed price ranged from $5.3 per watt for small systems, down to $4.6 per watt for systems larger than 100 kilowatts.

Since 1998, installed system prices have been falling thanks to reductions in the costs of solar energy that do not include the panels themselves: inverters, mounting hardware, labor, permitting and fees, customer acquisition, overhead, taxes, and installer profit. Prices have been falling in the short-term because of the decline of the cost of solar panels, which fell by $2.6/W from 2008 through 2012. This represents an 80 percent price drop for PV systems generating less than 10 kW.

As more renewable energy becomes available, the cost is coming down. And as more renewable energy projects come to life, our economy is reinvigorated that much more. This is a true win-win situation...

If we're willing to seize it. So are we? When will we finally seize the day to overcome the climate crisis and our recent economic woes?

It's time. Do we recognize it? Will we seize it?

Lives on the Line, Now Going to Overtime

It was supposed to be dead. Over three years ago, the US Department of Energy formally withdrew its application to complete the long proposed nuclear waste repository at Yucca Mountain. But today, the DC Circuit Court of Appeals looked to breathe new life into the "Screw Nevada" plan.

A federal appeals court said on Tuesday that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission can no longer delay a decision on whether to issue a permit for the long-stalled nuclear waste project at Yucca Mountain, Nev.

On a 2-1 vote, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ordered the commission to promptly decide to license the project or reject the application.

The Obama administration, which picks the Senate-confirmed commissioners, wants to abandon the project.

So what now? Is Yucca back? Not so fast, says Senator Harry Reid (D). He plans to continue blocking funding for the project... Though he's not enthusiastic about another plan that could end the proposed radioactive waste dump for good.

That leaves only two barriers to Nevada getting dumped with the nation’s nuclear waste: Sen. Harry Reid’s ability to block funding – which depends entirely on Democrats keeping a majority in the Senate – or a scientific determination that Yucca Mountain is unfit. [...]

“We’re not going to get any laws passed to change this,” Reid told reporters during a summit on clean energy in Las Vegas on Tuesday, blaming Tea Party opposition for stymieing any positive momentum toward siting a new repository [which Nevada's other Members of Congress have been attempting to do].

Still, Senator Reid sounds confident Yucca's new lease on life will soon expire (again).

“With no disrespect to the court, this decision means nothing,” Reid said. “Yucca Mountain is an afterthought.”

So what's next? The State of Nevada and/or federal Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) can appeal this to the US Supreme Court. Meanwhile, the NRC can simply rule on the merits (or lack thereof) of the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste dump. And as mentioned above, Congress can theoretically (re)consider legislation to site another location for long-term nuclear waste storage.

Oh, and the rest of the nation can reconsider the merits (or lack thereof) of nuclear power. After all, there's a reason why most here don't want all this radioactive waste in our back yard. And there's a reason why these other states with active nuclear power plants want to dump this radioactive waste in Nevada. Hint: This shit is fucking dangerous.

Radioactive waste is tremendously dangerous. Plutonium-239, for example, if inhaled in quantities as small as a millionth of an ounce, will cause cancer with a virtual 100 percent statistical certainty. The nation’s nuclear plants have produced hundreds of tons of plutonium alone. It is among the most dangerous of the waste products, toxic to humans for as much as half a million years. It and the other long-lived radionuclides in high-level waste need to be isolated from the environment for periods vastly longer than any government has even existed. We have no idea what to do with this devilish creation. The latest effort to develop a national storage center in Yucca Mountain, Nev. was finally shelved [until today?] after considerable expense, because it was not a safe enough site — and already too small.

Perhaps the biggest problem with nuclear power is its connection to the proliferation of atomic bombs. Each San Onofre reactor, for example, produced enough weapons-usable plutonium annually to make 100 A-bombs. The technology to enrich uranium for power plants can readily enrich to the bomb-grade levels, as demonstrated by the international concerns about Iran’s activities. The world cannot survive if we do not reverse proliferation risks, and we cannot do that while proliferating civil uses of the same materials and technologies.

Then there is the nuclear terrorism risk. Each nuclear plant is in some fashion a pre-emplaced nuclear weapon for our adversaries. While reactors cannot blow up like an atomic bomb, they can release vast quantities of fallout if a malevolent force successfully disrupted the cooling sufficient to cause a meltdown. Each San Onofre unit, for example, contained a thousand times the long-lived radioactivity of the Hiroshima bomb.

Nuclear power is far from "clean" and/or "safe". We in Nevada have had to learn this the hard way. And now, it looks like the fight to stop the Yucca nuclear waste dump is going into overtime after all. Once again, lives are on the line. Can this (again) be stopped in time?

The Other Ugly Denial

Earlier today, we were looking at the confusing rhetoric and complicated reality of the politics clouding immigration policy today. We've been seeing this in other policy areas as well. In fact, we're even seeing (continued) 21st Century Know Nothing denial here.

There's still intense "TEA" powered opposition to just about anything and everything that can help solve the climate crisis. They're denying the basic science of climate change. And they're refusing to offer any realistic solutions.

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

This is the problem. Climate change is a very real problem. And even a number of Republicans are urging their party to come to the table with actual climate solutions. Yet despite all this, G-O-TEA acolytes in Congress continue to deny reality and refuse solutions.

Again, even other Republicans are urging their party to recognize reality... And offer solutions. When will they?

There isn't much time left. Oh, and our economy will actually benefit from taking action. So how much more denial can we actually afford?

Talk v. Action

Yesterday was supposed to be a big news day for Rep. Joe Heck (R-Henderson). He finally announced his kind-of-sort-of-support of something-maybe-like the comprehensive immigration reform legislation (S 744) that already passed the Senate in June. Last night, Ralston asked why "Big, Bad, Mean Lib'rulz" (like moiself) were still "pounding Heck" when he's doing all he can.

But what if Ralston's premise is wrong? In reality, Rep. Heck can play a major role in passing CIR... If he wants to. He can demand a floor vote on what already passed the Senate by such a huge margin in June.

Rep. Heck now says he wants "comprehensive discussion, not rhetoric" on immigration reform. That's a step forward. Now, he has to work on his own party to achieve that (as well as to actually pass something soon).

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

In recent years, the Republican Party has gone out of its way to cultivate its 21st Century Know Nothing base. But now, they're demanding full control of the Republican Party. And they're demanding an end to talk of finally passing CIR. Rep. Heck and other Republicans rode a wave of "TEA" to power in 2010, but now that very wave of "TEA" is crashing down on them.

I get Rep. Heck doesn't want to irritate his base. But ultimately, he and other House Republicans willing to pass CIR must bypass the intransigent G-O-TEA bloc in order to actually pass CIR. So is he willing to do that? The talk sounds better now. When will it be matched with action?

Mixed Messages

Occasionally, we hear about the ongoing woes of the Nevada Republican Party. Just weeks ago, the Clark County Republican Party elected a new Chair. And already, Dave McKeon is causing quite a stir (just not as top Nevada Republican operatives were hoping for).

And in case that's not enough drama, McKeon's father, Rep. Buck McKeon (R-California), is causing even more.

The audio is admittedly very tough to hear, but as Kaczynski noted, McKeon argued that "Arab persons" might leave the Middle East, move to Mexico, disguise themselves as Latinos, then enter the United States.

"There are people that can't tell the difference between a Hispanic person and an Arab person," the congressman argued, adding, "They can mingle in, and they can get in here, and then they can do damage."

So, let's consider the Republican message to Latinos in a nutshell: when the GOP isn't accusing you of being lazy and/or drug mules, the party's elected lawmakers are also questioning whether you might inadvertently help terrorists by looking like al Qaeda.

Yet again, the G-O-TEA id is bearing its ugly head. And it's doing so at the most inopportune time for Nevada Republicans.

Today, Rep. Joe Heck (R-??!!) held a(nother) pay-per-view "town hall". And when asked about immigration reform, he actually expressed support for a path to citizenship and some sort of reasonable overall approach. This is an interesting turnaround for Rep. Heck. While he also expressed support for comprehensive immigration reform (CIR) in February, his recent voting record has told a very different story.

Actually, this has been an ongoing problem for the Republican Party here and elsewhere. They say something, yet they do the opposite. They throw out one message, then embrace something completely different. They convey a desire for "outreach", then they do everything possible to fence in.

So how are we to make sense of all these Republican mixed messages on CIR? If Rep. Heck is sincere in his desire to pass CIR, he can show it by doing his part to allow a floor vote on it. Otherwise, we just have a bunch of mixed messages that add up to a whole lot of nothing.

Tired of the Drama?

Earlier today, we gave examples of how the House of Representatives can actually represent Americans and participate in responsible governance. Unfortunately, many crispy G-O-TEA critters still have no interest in that. Hey, why bother with that boring stuff when one can impeach President Obama for baseless "TEA" fueled conspiracy theories... Something?!

As usual, Steve Benen has some good insight into this pressing matter.

Looking back a bit, a variety of voices on the right raised the specter of impeaching President Obama over all sorts of things --immigration policy, czars, recess appointments, DOMA, Benghazi, legislative gridlock, Syria, and job offers, among other things. In the spring, congressional Republicans went a little further, talking up the possibility of impeaching the president over executive orders that don't exist, gun control, and even budget deficits.

But my favorite thing about Blake Farenthold is that he doesn't bother coming up with a pretense for why he wants to impeach the president; he just seems to like the idea in general. Ordinarily, even the most ridiculous members of Congress try to come up withsomething to serve as grounds for impeachment, but Farenthold can't be bothered -- he supports impeachment; he thinks the House would vote for impeachment; and the Texas Republican is confident he knows what he's talking about because grumble, birth certificate, grumble.

Back in January, Rep. Mark Amodei (R-Carson City) proclaimed he was "tired of the drama". Yet since then, he, Rep. Joe Heck (R-Henderson), and the rest of the House G-O-TEA crew have been creating more drama. And not only has this drama been completely unnecessary, but it's also been harmful to the nation.

And in fact, what's actually behind the latest G-O-TEA sturm und drang is just as gruesome. Some G-O-TEA acolytes are actually trying to game this latest & greatest manufactured crisis to force even more austerity upon the nation.

Even prominent Republicans are cautioning their party against creating a government shutdown catastrophe. Are other House Republicans listening? And can they go beyond just putting aside another manufactured crisis fantasy? Can they actually agree to repair the damage they've done in the not-so-distant past?

Or is that just too much to hope for with this Congress? When will they finally tire of the drama? The rest of us outside Capitol Hill already have been for some time.

Can't He At Least Do That?

Back in February, gun violence looked to be on top of the national agenda as communities across the nation were reeling from massacres and constant shootings. Back then, Rep. Joe Heck (R-Henderson) held a town hall in Old Henderson and fielded many questions on gun safety. He refused to consider measures that most Nevadans support, like a new ban on military grade assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.

However even in declaring this, Rep. Heck left the door open to other policy solutions. Specifically, he endorsed expansion of background checks for gun purchases. And at least for that moment, it appeared as if Congress could actually accomplish something.

Of course, we remember what happened in April. Yet despite this, HR 1565 remains. It does exactly what Rep. Heck promised to support (expanding background checks for gun purchases). It was introduced by a fellow Republican (Peter King [R-New York]). And it now has 184 co-sponsors, including both of the other Southern Nevada Representatives (Dina Titus [D-Paradise] and Steven Horsford [D-North Las Vegas]).

So why hasn't Rep. Heck taken action yet? That's what local OFA volunteers were asking. They also called fellow Nevadans and asked them to call Rep. Heck about HR 1565 and gun safety.

Even though we haven't seen a major massacre making national headlines recently, that doesn't mean gun violence is no longer a serious problem. Ask Jill Schaller and the Reno Police Department about that. And for that matter, ask the many communities around the state and across the nation about the daily gun violence tragedies they witness.

Congress has the ability to do something. Rep. Joe Heck has the ability to do something. And his House Republican colleagues have the ability to do something.

They can start by passing HR 1565. The least they can do is expand background checks to prevent dangerous criminals from getting their hands on dangerous weapons. Can't they at least do that?

The Id & The Reality

Last Friday, Senator Harry Reid (D) sat down for an interview with KSNV/News 3 Vegas. He discussed a bevy of issues, such as Reid-Gardner and nuclear waste. He also waded (back) into recent events on Capitol Hill. (That starts at 1:55 below.)

Senator Reid especially sounded disappointed over the House's failure (so far) to match the Senate's action on comprehensive immigration reform (CIR). Despite all the work that went into both the Senate CIR bill and its wide margin of passage, the House has yet to do anything productive (on this or anything else). This is why Rep. Joe Heck (R-??!!) and other House Republicans are now facing heat from constituents.

House Republicans are now in trouble because they've been embracing so much "TEA" powered crazy. Even other Republicans are trying to get the House G-O-TEA to pull back. They know this is hurting their party's image.

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Yet despite all this, far too many Congressional Republicans continue to follow the G-O-TEA id. They don't want to recognize what's best for the nation's economy and many American families. They're just worried about the next G-O-TEA primary fight.

But what happens when they must re-engage the rest of the nation (outside the G-O-TEA primary electorate)? What happens when they must rediscover reality? Can they do so in time to pass CIR this year? Or will they have to learn the hard way?

Dangerous Fire

It's happening yet again. We're seeing more warning signs. Last month, we saw wildfires emerge on both ends of Nevada. And now, we have a dangerous fire burning near Palm Springs, California.

Senator Barbara Boxer (D-California) now lives in that region. She spoke with local media yesterday about witnessing the fire from her house. And she spoke about the dangerous dynamics behind this dangerous fire.

And she's onto something. We've been witnessing a growing and alarming body of evidence demonstrating how climate change is changing the natural ebb and flow of wildfires. And thanks to both climate inaction and ridiculous fiscal austerity policies, we're not as prepared to fight these fires as we should be. This is a problem. And it's one being confirmed by a new study from California's Department of Environmental Protection.

The study, written by 51 scientists, tracked a variety of indicators and found widespread evidence of the toll climate change is taking across the across the state, including more frequent and intense wildfires, rising sea levels, shrinking glaciers, warmer lakes and oceans, and hotter temperatures. These ripple effects of these changes threaten communities, industry, public health, and the state’s prized natural resources. “Climate change is not just some abstract scientific debate,” said California EPA Secretary Matt Rodriquez. “It’s real, and it’s already here.”

Californians are already suffering from a growing number of heat-related illnesses and deaths and those figures are projected to rise along with temperatures. The report found that in most regions of the state, warming has accelerated over the past three decades. During the summer, heat extremes have increased and nighttime heat waves have risen across the state. As climate change drives temperatures up, it poses a serious risk to public health. As evidence of this, the report notes that “the July 2006 heat wave, unprecedented in its magnitude and geographic extent, resulted in 140 heat-related deaths in California.” [...]

As with much of the western U.S., California wildfires have grown bigger, stronger and more frequent in recent decades. The report found that annual acreage burned statewide has been steadily increasing and “the three largest fire years occurred in the last ten years.” And the average number of acres scorched every year since 2000 is almost double the average of the previous 50 years — 598,000 acres annually now, compared with 264,000 acres a year then.

Again, we've discussed this many times before. Senator Harry Reid (D-Searchlight) talked about it a year ago. And we're all living through it now.

So what will we do about it? This dangerous fire rages on. And if we don't take action soon, it will consume all of us.

Allow a Floor Vote.

Even with Congress in recess, there's still plenty of chatter on the latest and greatest manufactured crisis. Apparently, some Congressional G-O-TEA acolytes hate Obamacare so much that they're willing to shut down the federal government and wreck the global economy in order to take health care away from millions of Americans. And now, we're seeing yet another battle in the ongoing Republican Party civil war.

But what if this latest battle leads to an unintended consequence? What if Ed Kilgore is right and the (old yet) new (again) haute faux health care "scandal" on the radical right opens just enough space for just enough House Republicans to cross over and pass comprehensive immigration reform (CIR)?

And that's not all. A few more House Republicans are changing their tune on CIR. And we're even hearing renewed discussion on using a procedure meant to sidestep "leadership" attempts to block legislation that can otherwise pass the House.

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Earlier this year, Reps. Mark Amodei (R-?) and Joe Heck (R-??!!) signaled willingness to support CIR. Yet since then, they've voted in lockstep with the rest of the G-O-TEA to derail reform (and deport DREAMers!). But even now, they still want to look like they "support reform".

So will they sign a discharge petition to bring CIR legislation to the House floor? Will they encourage more of their Republican colleagues to step forward and demand a vote next week? Right now, House Republicans (and their "TEA" fueled base) are the only ones preventing immigration reform from happening.

However, that can change. They can allow for the reunification of families, as well as more economic growth and even more budget deficit reduction. All they have to do is allow a floor vote. Will they?

Right now, we're hearing a whole lot of chatter over a whole lot of unproductive activity. We don't need any more manufactured crises on Capitol Hill. We do, however, need comprehensive immigration reform. And all House Republicans have to do to change this dynamics is allow a floor vote.

Falling Through the Cracks

Over time, it's become a familiar story. We've become all too familiar with the many tragic stories from Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital. And now, Nevada is beginning to pay the price of allowing all the patient dumping from there.

But now, we're finding out Rawson-Neal may not be alone. Today, we learned of Clark County public defenders' law suit against the Lake's Crossing Psychiatric Hospital in Sparks.

The Clark County public defender’s office filed the lawsuit in June against Lake’s Crossing Center in Sparks, saying inmates on the waiting list are spending an average of 80 days in jails without proper treatment and with their legal cases on hold.

“Incompetent detainees have routinely spent weeks and, in most cases, months, at detention facilities where the conditions are punitive and no prompt restorative treatment is available,” the lawsuit alleges.

The state must respond to the lawsuit by Aug. 26, according to Nevada Health and Human Services spokeswoman Mary Woods. In the meantime, the state is working to meet demand by adding 10 beds to the Dini-Townsend building — on the same campus as Lake’s Crossing — by November.

Mentally ill inmates are waiting 11 times longer for admission than they're supposed to. And as a result, their criminal cases are stuck in legal limbo. And to make matters worse, this is a problem that should have been resolved when the state settled another law suit in 2008.

Yet again, the State of Nevada decided to be penny wise and pound foolish. By not investing in basic mental health care and public infrastructure, the state is now in a world of constant legal trouble. Rawson-Neal is already being pummeled with law suits as the federal government continues to investigate the troubled mental health treatment hospital in Las Vegas. Even accreditation is now at stake there.

And now, it's not just Rawson-Neal. Cracks are appearing throughout the system. And far too many people are falling through those cracks. There's a financial toll to pay. And of course, there's a real human toll as well.

When will the powers that be (in Carson City) learn?

Push Back.

So it's August Recess. And Congresscritters are at play. We're already hearing about some crazy schemes being concocted for when Capitol Hill returns to bloom next month. And already, House G-O-TEA players are getting push back.

We've talked about this many times before. Obamacare (aka Affordable Care Act, or ACA) has already been helping many folks. We've even been seeing it at work right here in Nevada.

Yet despite this, Senator Dean Heller (R-Born Again "TEA" Drinker), Rep. Joe Heck (R-"TEA" Curious), and Rep. Mark Amodei (R-Loves "TEA") keep signing onto fruitless and counterproductive efforts to take health care away from many Nevadans. They're playing politics with people's lives. And they're finally feeling push-back now.

Steve Benen seems to feel the way I do now.

I have to admit, I always find it a little amusing when this happens. Far-right congressional Republicans vote, over and over again, to destroy the entirety of the Affordable Care Act, insisting the whole thing has to go, root and branch. But when confronted with struggling families who actually benefit from the law, suddenly the tune changes. "Sure, I voted to repeal the law and deny your family what you need," the argument usually goes, "but I kind of like some of the popular parts...."

But [House Republicans] shouldn't play these little games and expect to be taken seriously. [They] actually support protections for those with pre-existing conditions, despite having voted the other way? That's nice, I suppose, but if the law is going to protect those with pre-existing conditions, it's going to need to bring everyone else into the system to prevent soaring costs. And once you do that, you'll also need to provide subsidies to those who can't afford coverage.

And at that point, what you have is the Affordable Care Act, which [they have] repeatedly tried to destroy.

Congressional Republicans always seem to find it easy to condemn and sabotage the law, but find it less easy when it comes to the individual provisions that remain extremely popular. [They hate] the dreaded Obamacare, except for the protections for those with pre-existing conditions, and the policy that covers young adults, and the tax breaks for small businesses, and the prescription-drug benefits for seniors, and....

And yet, they still want to repeal legislation that does all this and more. The Affordable Care Act is helping real people. This is real life. It's actually happening. And they want to undo it?

This is why Congressional Republicans are now feeling push-back. Constituents are pushing back. Obamacare is working. And the last thing this country needs is yet another manufactured crisis caused by the G-O-TEA's insane desire to destroy Obamacare.

The people are now pushing back.
