OK, so it's coming and coming to us very soon. It's the beginning of a new Las Vegas. It's a glittery hot mess. It's Las Vegas' one-way ticket to economic recovery. It's the riskiest bet anyone in Sin City has ever made.
It's a bird. It's a plane. It's a Rorschach Test. No, it's MGM Mirage's City Center!

There are so many wild & crazy opinions on the most talked about Las Vegas attraction to date that I'd rather not spend the rest of the year just linking to all of them. You already know where I stand on City Center, so I'll just add that it will be nice to finally see the project open just so we won't have to hear any more predictions about Las Vegas becoming some "21st century ghost town" or the ghosts of "The Rat Pack" rising from the grave just to spit on the project.
So Vdara opens today and "The New New Vegas" starts now. Good. I can hardly wait to hop aboard and let it ride. :-)
